[Dixonary] Round 3135 POSSER results
Folks,
An posser, as Shani Naylor and Deb Fine voted, is (according to the dictionary) "a short stick used for stirring clothes in a washtub." This is one type of posser: John Barrs submitted the essentially identical "a laundry stick (sometimes called a dolly)." The two were combined into #8 on the list after confirming that "dolly" is, in fact, another term for a posser, so I could add the parenthetical part to the dictionary definition with a straight face. Alan Mallach's troublemaker, def. 5, had a natural 5 and is our next dealer.. Dan Widdis and Judy Madnick share the coveted runner-up spot with 4 points each. Full results follow. Defs. "11" and "12" are the original sources of the combined def. 8 and did not appear in the list that was sent out. 1. a tall, cylindrical military cap. From Naylor, S. who voted 4, 11.
