Default [Dixonary] Round 2927 results

Ryan McGill and Keith Hale, whose defs I combined, are the winners with 7
points. Since both are tied in the rolling scores, I had to go back to the
total scores for the 2nd tiebreaker (it's been a very long time since that
happened). The upshot is that Keith Hale is the next dealer and Ryan McGill
can breath a sigh of relief.

Submitter: Naylor Votes: 5 & 8 0 + 2 = 2
Voted for by: Hale; Embler

2. one who excessively dwells on past accomplishments.
Submitter: Abell Votes: 4 & 8 0 + 1 = 1
Voted for by: Cunningham

3. [Brit. Navy] informal/derogatory term for an incompetent officer.

5. a layabout or slacker; someone who is habitually idle; a do-nothing.
Submitter: Mcgill Votes: 10 & 12 0 + 7 = 7
Submitter: Hale Votes: 1 & 3 0 + 7 = 7
Voted for by: Naylor; Mallach; Carson; Cunningham; Stevens; Bourne;
Shepherdson

6. a common instrument of Finland and a form of zither.
Submitter: Embler Votes: 1 & *9* 2 + 1 = 3
Voted for by: Lodge

7. a denier, esp. of the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Submitter: Cunningham Votes: 2 & 5 0 + 2 = 2
Voted for by: Bourne; Barrs

Submitter: Bourne Votes: 5 & 7 0 + 1 = 1
Voted for by: Widdis

12. [Joc.] a nihilist.
Submitter: Lodge Votes: 6 & 8 0 + 1 = 1
Voted for by: Mcgill

No def: Madnick Votes: 8 & *9* 2 + 0 = 2

I was all ready to deal, because I didn't notice our definitions were
combined. But frankly, I'm kind of grateful Keith gets the deal. Things are
very chaotic this week, and I'm largely responsible for making them make
sense. But I do have a word ready if needed.
