*~Bending under the weight of His mercies~*
The words of Zechariah the Prophet, “And I will pour out on the house of
David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They
will look on Me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as
one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves
for a firstborn son."

Doesn't seem Scottish to me. Some of the others are too outlandish to be plausible. Eliminating those, which no doubt eliminates the right one, I find myself left with four. I'll try 6 and 10.

Efrem

P.S. A friend told me that she found PROOP in urbandictionary.com with a very rude meaning that didn't appear in the list. I haven't checked yet, for fear of encountering the correct meaning along with the one she referred to. But I will.

P.P.S. Mike, you need a proofreader. I am not volunteering, though.
