Default [Dixonary] Round 3219 time to vote

We have a baker's dozen of definitions for our word QUICKHATCH, including
(at least) one sourced from a respectable dictionary.

Please vote for two by the deadline, which is 38 hours from now.

*QUICKHATCH*

1. A wolverine.

2. Lunacy. [Poetic]

3. Variation of the traditional cross-stitch.

4. An efflorescence or discoloration of the skin.

5. Cuttings or slips of a plant suitable for hedges.

6. A baby bird that has hatched from its egg prematurely.

7. [Naut] An opening in a ship's deck leading to a stowage area for
live animals.

8. An emergency escape mechanism built into some military vehicles
such as tanks.

9. Family of fish including guppies that retain eggs in their bodies
and bear live young.

10. A technique used in graphic design and cartooning; also, a tool
developed for that purpose.

11. A small shorebird _*Coenocorypha mansuetus*_ common to Australia, New
Zealand and parts of Polynesia.

12. An upright wall within the hull of a boat that may add structural
integrity or a separation of living spaces.

13. A semi-permanent joint between two ropes or two parts of the same
rope formed by partly untwisting and then interweaving their strands.
