Default [Dixonary] Rnd 2963 WESAND Resultts

Well, the lesson learned here was use the desktop at home instead of the laptop which for some reason, Cory doesn’t recognize as capable of MAPI or IMAP, necessitating manual entry of defs and votes. So I’ll apologize in advance for any glitches in the scoring.

The winner of round 2963 is Tim Lodge, whose definition "[Obs.] A steward or butler." received 3 votes, plus 2 points for guessing the correct def.

Daniel Widdis takes coveted second place with 4 points. And there were 3 players in runner-up position with 2 points: Dave Cunningham, Debbie Embler and Mike Shefler.

The true definition was 5: "_Archaic_ The gullet or throat" (AHD 5th), which 3 perceptive players guessed.

1. [Obs.] A steward or butler. Votes from: jmadnick and Mallach
Submitted by: Lodge, who scores 2 + 2, total 4.

etc., pierces the roof of a building. No votes
