Default [Dixonary] Round 2761 time to vote for grissens

Here are 14 definitions for GRISSENS. Choose 2 to vote for publicly by
responding to this message. Deadline for votes is 5 PM EDT, Thursday,
December 1.

1. [Scots] leftovers.

2. a type of candle wax made from whale oil.

3. the muscle wall of the first three chambers of a cow's stomach, used
as food. Also tripe.

4. the mastery of calm.

5. crisp chicken or goose skin cracklings with fried onions, somewhat
similar to pork rinds.

6. fragments or splintered pieces.

7. in cartoons, flying sweat droplets that appear around a character's
head when working hard, stressed, etc.

8. a variety of apple that is very tart and has few seeds; used mainly
for pies.

9. [Obs] Greek people; anything Greek [orig dialect for "Grecian"]

10. _ Plural functioning as singular_ the irrecoverable grain at the
bottom of a silo or on the floor of a mill.

11. (Zool.) The dried bodies of the females of a scale insect (Grissen
ilices formerly Coccus ilicis), allied to the cochineal insect, and
