Default [Dixonary] Round 3042 SAROS Results - Second Attempt!

That's very odd. I posted the SAROS results a couple of hours ago, yert
they haven't appeared on the group website. Maybe I pressed 'Discard'
instead of 'Post'. Anyway, here's another try.

First of all, appologies again to Dan Widdis for losing (or, more
accurately, allowing my spreadsheet to ignore) his def. He gets two dealer
points.

The next deal goes back to Efrem Mallach with 4 votes for his Greek dance
area - giving him his third deal in five rounds. Debbie Embler, Dave
Ci=unningham, and Mike Shefler are the real winners with 3 points apiece.
Mike Shefler and Tony Abell guessed correctly the SAROS is the Babyonian
word for the number 3600.

Over to you, Efrem!

I should have one vote. Debbie Embler voted for my definition, #13. It doesn't appear in my total.

Okay, so "13. a card game in which the players bet on the appearance of a particular rank when two cards are taken from the top of a dealer's pack. If the player's rank appears first, the bet is lost; if it appears second, the bet is won; and if it doesn't appear, the player has the option of changing the wager before the next hand.
Submitter: Judy Madnick Votes: 1 & 4 Score: 0 + 0 + 0 = 0
Voted for by: Debbie Embler" is incorrect.

For some reason I thought that I had received one vote. I'll double-check that.

Thanks for your reply.
