Default [Dixonary] Round 2989 FLIFFIS results

Folks,

This was an unusual round. I'm glad it's over.

The correct definition of "fliffis" is #7, a twisting double somersault performed on a trampoline. John Barrs submitted a fake definition that was just different enough to be uncombinable with it, but many players (six of eleven voters, in fact) saw this similarity as indicating that one of them was probably correct. They were right, of course. I earned a not-too-respectable, but under the circumstances understandable, D8. John is the next dealer with 7 points, including two for voting for the correct definition. (He received six votes, but his vote for his own definition doesn't count. That is reflected in the table at the bottom as a -1 DP adjustment.) Dave Cunningham is the traditional "winnah" with 4.

No definition from Stevens, G. who voted 6, *7*. Voted for by: None. Score: 2.

For those who prefer tables the results follow in that form, in descending order of scores without regard for tie-breaking rules:

It's all yours, John!
