Default [Dixonary] Rnd 3059 CHATOYANT - THE DEFS

We have a bumper crop of 14 definitions for CHATOYANT. Please vote for two, by public reply to this message, before deadline, which is 8:00 AM EDT on Monday, March 23, 2020, or 5:00 AM PDT .

1. A person engaged to provide pleasant and entertaining
conversation at a soirée or other such gathering.
2. An overseer; a foreman.
3. A narcissist.
4. A soft lithographic method based on intaglio printing
to generate microarrays comprising the secreted products of
single cells.
5. A dish in which boiled and mashed squash is fried in
unrendered pork fat, which became ubiquitous throughout the
Aztec Empire within the first century following the Triple
Alliance in 1430 CE.
6. Characterized by rapid, irregular but small-scale
movement.
7. Having a changeable luster.
8. Incisive and trenchant.
9. In the philosophy of Nietzsche, a man of superior
physique and powers capable of dominating others; one
fitted to survive in an egoistic struggle for the mastery.
10. Lithe; moving like a cat.
11. [Heraldry] Divided into equal segments of alternating
color by lines radiating from a central point.
12. Old-fashioned, quaint; antiquated.
13. Plentiful, as a good harvest.
14. The housekeeper of a chateau.

Sounds like an adjective to me, but that doesn't narrow it down much. I'll try 7 and 8.
