[Dixonary] Round 2837 (PINTA) Progress Report
Folks,
With about 11 hours to go, we have nine creative definitions of PINTA from players Barrs, Bourne, Cunningham, Hale, Lodge, Madnick, Naylor, Shepherdson, Stevens and Widdis. With one from a dictionary, that's a total of ten. While that's more than a paucity, it's not yet a plethora. A few more wold be nice. As usual: - If you sent one and your name is in the above list, all is well. - If you sent one and your name isn't in the list, please send it again. If you sent it to emallach (AT) umassd (DOT) edu <mailto:emallach (AT) umassd (DOT) edu>, please send it to emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net <mailto:emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net> as requested in the call for definitions, since I don't watch the former address much any more. (That said, I only found one at that address so far; its sender is in the list.) - If you didn't send one yet, please do. New players: Please send your invented definition of PINTA to emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net <mailto:emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net>, not by public reply to this message or the earlier call for definitions, so nobody but me will know who it's from. Efrem P.S. This word is unrelated to "pint" as a unit of measure for volume or to Christopeer Columbus's ship of that name. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Dixonary" group.
