Default [Dixonary] OT: My Mouse

No I am not talking about undesirable creatures in the house.

My mouse is cordless, and has a roller thingy in the middle. What is
that roller thingy for?

The "roller thingy" allows you to scroll up and down the page.

That would be the scroll wheel, wouldn't it? Rotating the wheel up or down
should scroll the current window, if it has vertical scroll bars. An
alternative to dragging the scroll position thing in the right-hand scroll
bar.

Yes, that is seemingly what it does. I rarely used the mouse in the
past. And I am having trouble with it now. Also note the tiny font. Or
maybe that doesn't show up the same way as in my capture of your message
in my reply.
