Default Spell checkers for the forum

For IE, go here. I'm quite happy with it.

http://www.iespell.com/index.htm

For Firefox and the Mozilla Suite, go here:

http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/

And here is the most powerful collection of dictionaries I've found:

http://www.onelook.com/

Another option for Windows users is a commercial product called Spell Magic. It installs in Windows (not the browsers), but it can spell check in every browser I use. I like it because it does a good job checking, it can correct double words, and it's configurable. It also works better than any other universal spell checker I've tried.

I actually bought Word Spring, which is Spell Magic plus a definition feature and thesaurus. But I never use the extra features because I don't like the way they work.

Spell check for Firefox 2: right-click in the composition field.

If you try it out, let me know what you think. It is the only universal spell checker I've tried that hasn't turned out to be a clumsy disappointment. You can even use it to spell check the title area of a post.
