[Dixonary] OT: Thunderbird Updates
I have my update option set to "check for updates but let me choose when
to install". Today, I don't remember exactly what I was doing, but a Tbird message popped up in the midst of it. I mean I wasn't using Tbird at the time. I have a feeling that I should go back to the "don't notify me of updates" option. Or perhaps I should make sure I've got the Internet turned off when I am not using it. So far it seems that Tbird wants to update itself all too often. -- Guerri -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Dixonary" group. [Dixonary] OT: Thunderbird Updates
I had a moment of panic just now when I thought Thunderbird had updated
itself without asking. But as long as I'm thinking about updating, I am assuming that I can update it when IÂ* want to. And can refuse to update, even when updates are available.Â* Of course there may be no support for an obsolete version, so that's a risk. And it is also possible that an obsolete version may quit working if the underlying email system changes in some way.. -- Guerri -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Dixonary" group.
