Dixonary Ancient History
Quoting Daniel Widdis:
You are right, Daniel, to vote for your own def was "to Benner," after the late, great Howard Benner who is memorialized hereabouts much better than I can. Howard not only always voted for his own but almost always contributed a definition that referred, in one way or another, to horses and horse racing. He was a fan of thoroughbred racing. The game morphed into Dixonary, and I got the nickname "DQ Dixon" because of my awful first attempt as a dealer on Round #28. It was about that time that concerns had surfaced over possible copyright infringement on the Fictionary name and Howard, in his role as kind and benevolent ruler, decided to retag the game on TapCIS Forum after the absolute worst round ever. BTW, I wanted to ask about some folks and reminisce. Is this the proper spot or should it be taken elsewhere to keep the game messages clear?
