[Dixonary] Round 2859 KEITAI Results
Sorry for the short delay - we hit our local supermarket before dawn this
morning for the last shopping trip before Christmas, and I was so exhausted when I got back that I sat in an armchair with a coffee and fell asleep! I think old age is creeping up. A KEITAI is what those of you on the other side of the pond would call a cell phone - I used the Oxford English Dictionary' definition which has it as a mobile phone. Tony Abell, Efrem Mallach, and Shani Naylor gussed that correctly, and - of course - Johnny Barrs knew it already. Efrem also got 4 votes for his Devil's Tongue Japanese food, giving him a total of 6 points and making him the next dealer. Mike Shefler is the real winner with a natural 4 for his wonderful codpiece def; it reminded me of the Ogden Nash poem which I offer here as an early Christmas present to you all: *The turtle lives 'twixt plated decksWhich practically conceal its sex.I think it clever of the turtleIn such a fix to be so fertile.* Take it away, Efrem, -- Tim L *** KEITAI *** 1. an in-group member.
