[Dixonary] OT: Sort by Name
I have Windows Vista Home Premium (at least that's what I think it's
called). In any event, I have a bunch of stuff on my desktop. I have instructed it to "sort by name". What does that mean? I thought that it meant that it would sort by whatever appears underneath the icon. Firefox for instance. A few icons below Firefox is "Calculator". Why would "Calculator" come AFTER Firefox whether the blasted things are arranged horizontally or vertically? I hope this is not some kind of clue that I personally should be permanently arranged horizontally. The odd sorting arrangement is not new, just something I have often wondered about. -- Guerri -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Dixonary" group.
