Default [Dixonary] Round 3154 PLUNKET Defs

Just before I decided to withdraw GARDNAP, I was talking on Zoom to my
grandson in Italy. Knowing I am interested in words, he sent me a 5,000
word esaay that his girlfriend (who is reading for a Master's in English at
Oxford,) had written on terms for the colour blue in Medieval English. I
could have chosen* asur, inde, pers, violet, wachet, glauk, saphirine *and
*venet*, or even *hæwen*, but I settled on PLUNKET - a blue-grey shade - as
it didn't sound like a colour.

Paul Keating was the only one to pick the real def, and that, together with
the two votes he got for his sparkling wine def, makes him the new dealer.
Mike Shefler is off the hook for this round, as he is one of the three
lucky runners up, along with Tim Bourne and Dave Cunningham, all of whom
got three votes.

Over to you, Paul
