[Dixonary] Round 3096 New word CHITTERIE-CHATTERIE

Hi all

In the interests of keeping the game moving along, rule 1(b) of the Real
Rules says the “real winnah” can spontaneously leap in and deal (well, I’m
paraphrasing that bit) if the winner hasn’t dealt in 24 hours. Since we
haven’t heard from Nancy for more than 30 hours, I will hereby do my duty
and step in.

The word for Round 3096 shall be:

*************************************

*CHITTERIE-CHATTERIE*

*************************************

Please don't look up the word. Send a bogus definition to my gmail address,
and let me know if you are DQ.

The deadline is 9pm Saturday, 15 August 2020 my time (NZDT) or:

Los Angeles, USA Sat, 15 August 2020 at 2am
PDT

New York, USA Sat, 15 August 2020 at 5am
EDT

London, United Kingdom Sat, 15 August 2020 at 10am BST

Paris, France Sat, 15 August 2020 at
11am CEST

(please check these times and adjust accordingly)

New players always welcome!

Shani

How you pay for having your cat groomed in Paris. (They don't all just have poodles, y'know.)

Re: [Dixonary] Round 3096 New word CHITTERIE-CHATTERIE

Shani,

Thanks for stepping in!

Chitterie-chatterie, NADs about Parisian cats aside, means: Fr. Can. slang term for the sounds of the English language.

Or maybe it doesn't. More likely it doesn't. I'll find out in a few days.

Stay safe, or stay in NZ which is much the same thing -

[Dixonary] Round 3096 New word CHITTERIE-CHATTERIE

I'm very sorry. I got no notification that I was the dealer and didn't
know. I had no idea I was even close on the score. I'll take one for
Shani in the future.

Happy to (although when I saw NAD originally, I didn't bother to determine how you used it and thought it was really a NAD!)
