[Dixonary] Round 2838: MOUNTWEAZEL voting time!
 
We now have a respectable 13 definitions for our word MOUNTWEAZEL,
including one from a dictionary. Please vote for two of them by the
deadline, which is 36 hours from now (I'll post the actual times later...
I'm in a hurry to get out of the house).

Happy voting!

1. The lowest of the volcanoes of Auckland, New Zealand, named for a
Maori chief who signed the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840.

2. A high plateau ground living parrot.

3. A specialized tool formerly used in engine tune ups.

4. The demonym for residents of the region surrounding Mount

I'll try the demonym, in honour of my grandfather, who was born in
Tasmania, and the antipodean edelweiss, 4 and 10, please.

characteristics to edelweiss, found mainly in Southern New Zealand.

If it isn't 6 there should be a word for that, so 6 gets one of my votes. The other goes to #10 because it sounds like it could be a flower and the NZ connection.
