[Dixonary] Round 2997 results
Hi all
Not a great round for your dealer - of the 10 players who voted, all but 2 picked the right def. Ah well, I thought SOUL SCOT seemed suitably vague and vaguely Scottish, which it wasn't. The winner this round is Efrem M, with 5 unnatural points, for his per-capita tax. Second place went jointly to Dan W & Johnny B. Take it away Efrem. 1. Any of several large Old World insectivorous bats of the genus _ *Nyctalus*_. Tim L, who voted 7 & *11. Score: 2 2. A mildly hallucinogenic mushroom found in the Scottish highlands. Mike S, who voted 8 & *11. Score: 3 Vote from Tim B. 3. Any tax levied on a per-capita basis; e.g., a poll tax. Efrem M, who voted 5 & *11. Score: 5. Votes from Dave C, Tony A & Johnny B. 4. Re: [Dixonary] Round 2997 results
This comes as a bit of a surprise, perhaps because I didn't keep track of things. New word by mid-afternoon eastern U.S. time (about six hours from now, give or take). Defining time will be a bit longer than normal, until Sunday evening eastern U.S. time, when we get home from visiting friends in a remote area with next to zero Internet access over the weekend.
