[Dixonary] Round 2983 word: SALUTOGENESIS

Greetings all,

Sorry for the delay. Turns out it was an even bigger workday than I expected, and I barely got free for this. Also, something went wrong with the DNS on my work computer, so I’m relegated to my phone, thus: this takes too long to do on a break.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The word for round 2983:

SALUTOGENESIS

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

As far as I know, there’s no rhyme or reason to the capitalisation. I did get it from a real dictionary.

Fake, made up, or misappropriated definitions may be submitted to my email address, ryanmmcgill (AT) gmail (DOT) com. To ensure your definition makes it on the list, you may find it helpful to include the round number, da woid, or “definition” in your email subject line.

If you’ve never played before, you’re welcome to submit a definition. But make sure you send me an email and not just a public reply to this message, or you’ll end up with a crown.

Deadline will be 36 hours from the nearest hour,

1500 UTC, 15 May 2019

Please adjust to your local time. You may use whatever resource you desire, but I have found timeanddate.com to be more than sufficient. It’s not my favorite, but I don’t remember what my favorite was. Feel free to share your favorite.

Enjoy!

Ryan

All hail the first book of the Bible!

Or: a myth about how the usual military greeting got started.

Nancy,

Since I didn’t have the foresight to copyright them, they’re all yours! (Or anyone else’s.)
