[Dixonary] Round 2922 word: DIRL

Folks,

The word for Round 2919 is:

*********************
DIRL
*********************

where, as usual, the capitalization means nothing.

Please send your invented definitions of DIRL to emallach at verizon dot net in the next 47 or so hours; that is, by 9 pm US EDT on Tues., Sept. 11. If you know what it means, please let me know ASAP by private message. If enough people know it, I'll pick another - hopefully in time to keep the same schedule. Either way, don't hit Reply. That will send your message to the whole group.

According to timeanddate.com <http://timeanddate.com/>, the deadline is:

and other times in other places. You might want to confirm your time conversion. That site's good, but nobody's perfect, and we're approaching the season in which various countries go on or off summer time on various dates.

I expect votes to be due 48 hours after that, 9 pm Thursday in the eastern U.S.

New players are welcome. (So are old ones who've been quiet for a while. Come back to the fold.) Just send in a definition that you invented without looking up what the word really means. Full rules at http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules <http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules>. (Debbie E.: I'm still sending you this directly because I'm not sure you get Google Groups messages yet. Please let me know if that's no longer necessary.)

Define away!

Efrem

D.I.R.L. Acronym for "Definition In Real Life" wherein one tries to use
Dixonary definitions in regular speech.
