[Dixonary] Round 2967 (GINRICH) Progress Report

Folks,

With about 22 hours left in the definition period, we have - despite a great deal of email traffic on various deal-related topics, so I know many of you are out there - a mere seven fake definitions of GINRICH from players Barrs, Carson, Cunningham, Lodge, Madnick, Stevens, and Widdis. My spreadsheet has room for many more. Come on, folks! Enough wasting time! Get out your defining pencils!

The deadline, according to timeanddate.com <http://timeanddate.com/>, is:

As usual:

- If you sent a definition and your name is listed above, all is well. (You should have received a confirmation reply.)

- If you sent one and your name isn't in the list, please send it again. If you sent it to emallach at umassd dot edu, please send it to the address in the next paragraph. It might also be good to send a public message, without the definition itself, to the effect that you did that.

- If you didn't send one yet, please do. New players: Send A cleverly misleading fake definition of MODILLION to emallach at verizon dot net, not by public Reply to this message or to the earlier call for definitions, so other players won't see it and won't know who it's from when they see it in the list later.

I expect votes to be due at 9 am on Monday, March 11, in US EDT and other times in other places. That means moving the time in the above table out by 47 hours, though it will look like 48 hours in the U.S. I'll send a new table with the definition list. Again, please help make it a long one!

Efrem

You never heard the saying that "if it weren't for the 'last minute' a
lot of things would never get done"?

Re: [Dixonary] Round 2967 (GINGICH, not GINRICH) Progress Report

The word, as originally sent out, is GINGICH - not, as erroneously given in this progress report in both the subject line and the first paragraph below, GINRICH. And it's certainly not "modillion," a left-over from my previous deal further down the message. Apologies for the errors, but they're no excuse for not sending in a definition!

By the way, in case anyone was curious: No DQs yet.
