LOL! I let Windows Update install it for me, so I didn't see that particular oddity.

ROFL!!! That's encouraging, isn't it? (And I love the location on the C drive...)

What means "screen clip"? Something native to XP? I did SP3 the hard way; a three hour total machine tie up online on a fat cable pipe. There should have been a warning for that.

Screen clip = screen capture, a way of making an image.

What she said. {PrtScrn} to copy the entire screen to the clipboard, {Alt+PrtScrn} to copy just the active window.

Oh. I had no idea. So much so that I've always used SnagIt, until I lost it in a computer move.
http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp I guess I should see if I still have the serial number in a txt file somewhere, and dl it again.

I love Snag-It! Couldn't do without it, especially for work.

I've been wandering off to Firefox land and I ran into this neat new add-on that lets you easily add a map to your e-mail or translate those Chinese, uh, electronics sites you visit late at night. It's called Ubiquity and naturally, you have to run Firefox. http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-ubiquity/

The demo is interesting even if you run some other browser.

Now that looks like fun!
